Flynn Group of Companies in Calgary, AB is seeking an experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our team and contribute to maintenance and repairs on our equipment fleet.

You will troubleshoot, perform scheduled service, order parts, and keep accurate paperwork while upholding safety and efficiency. This role offers a competitive wage, benefits, and the supportive Flynn Family environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Small Engine ticket.
• Heavy Duty Equipment ticket is an asset.
• Ability to run telehandler and skid-steer.
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Team player with a proactive, safety oriented mind set.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tools and small engine equipment are to manufactures spec and are kept in a safe working condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment.
• Order necessary parts for repairs.
• Use various hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Keep all paper work current.
• General labour duties as required.
