Job summary

Flynn Canada Ltd. in Winnipeg is seeking a Small Engine and Equipment Mechanic to join our experienced team.

This full-time role focuses on scheduled maintenance, oil changes, tune ups, and field equipment repairs as part of our manufacturing and warehouse operations. We value hands-on experience (3-5 years on fleet equipment), licensed mechanics preferred, hydraulic and welding skills are a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience working on fleet equipment and small engine repairs
• Specialty tools supplied
• Licensed mechanic preferred
• Hydraulic experience is a plus
• Welding certificate is an asset

• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of field equipment

A Day In The Life

Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups

Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of field equipment

Small engine and equipment repair

Heavy equipment: bob cats, conveyors, asphalt equipment repairs

What We Are Seeking

Previous mechanical experience (3-5 years’) working on fleet equipment and small engine repairs

Specialty tools and hand tools supplied

Licensed mechanic is preferred

Hydraulic experience would be an asset

Welding certificate would be an asset

Valid Driver’s License
