Job summary

ScotiaBank is seeking a Business Advisor to help small business clients get the right financial advice while managing a personal portfolio of moderate to complex business relationships.

You will build a solid position locally within the business community through Centres of Influence relationships, proactively engaging clients, advising owners to grow and sustain their financial position, and partnering with other advisors to keep clients as the priority.

Qualifications

• Solid proficiency in financial statements, products, and the small business sector.
• Knowledge of risk management policy and the legal and security documents that apply to business products.
• Education in a business-related discipline or equivalent experience as a small business owner.
• A valid driver’s license and access to an operational vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of small business clients with complexity and/or value to meet performance and retention goals.
• Develop awareness in the local small business community through Centres of Influence relationships.
• Reach out to new and existing clients with appropriate financial advice and business solutions based on their business needs.
