Job summary

MedSleep Inc. in Thornhill, Ontario is seeking an experienced Clinic Manager to lead day-to-day operations and enhance patient care. You will oversee scheduling, staffing and budget while maintaining PHIPA compliance and strong physician relationships.

The successful candidate will drive staff performance, improve processes, and contribute to clinic growth in a fast-paced sleep medicine environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare administration or clinic management in a supervisory role.
• Proven leadership with experience managing and developing a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills with physicians, staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations – reception, doctor schedules and sleep study bookings for smooth patient flow.
• Interact with patients and physicians to foster a positive experience and address questions.
• Handle escalated patient concerns with professionalism and care.
• Monitor patient feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Recruit, onboard/offboard, train, schedule and manage clinic staff.
• Coach and motivate the team to ensure quality and timeliness of patient care.
• Ensure adequate admin staffing to support delivery of excellent care.
• Step into the Administrator role during staff absences.
• Monitor quality standards, PHIPA compliance and billing questions.
• Track productivity and internal process standards; resolve OHIP questions with billing team.
• Manage EMR, complete operational reports and rollout process improvements.
• Support budgeting, inventory and relationships with referring physicians and partners.
