Zusammenfassung

Fero International Inc. is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator in Hamilton, Ontario. You will fabricate and repair structural assemblies, read blueprints, and operate welding equipment and cranes to move materials.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and safety compliance on a fast-paced shop floor. Starting pay is 27.50 CAD per hour with full health benefits, vacation, and a group retirement savings plan.

Qualifikationen

• Reads and interprets blueprints and layouts.
• Ability to read a tape measure in metric and imperial.
• Operates rigging harnesses and overhead cranes.
• Experience with FCAW welding; CWB ticket an asset.
• Familiar with hand and power tools used in welding.
• Effective problem solving and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work OT and weekends if required.

Aufgaben

• Fabricate and/or repair according to blueprints or work orders by welding metal components.
• Layout reference points and symbols on structural steel per blueprint.
• Fit parts together per blueprints; move materials with cranes/hoists.
• Operate welding equipment for flux-cored arc welding.
• Set up and use torches, drills, clamps, grinders and handheld tools.
• Maintain safe work environment and comply with codes and conduct.
