Job summary

Port Hardy Recreation is seeking a Skate Patrol & Program Assistant to support a variety of activities, from teaching skating to assisting with community events. This role includes customer service in the skate shop and helping with camps, festivals, and setup.

Light janitorial duties help keep facilities clean and welcoming. We value hardworking, friendly team players who enjoy working with children and community members and who are willing to learn new tasks to create a safe, inclusive

Looking for a job where no two shifts are the same? Join the Port Hardy Recreation team and help bring recreation, community events and plenty of fun to Port Hardy!

As a Program Assistant and Skate Patrol, you could find yourself teaching skating lessons, helping customers in the skate shop, leading games at summer camps, assisting with community events and festivals, or helping with event setup and takedown.

The position also includes light janitorial duties to help keep our facilities clean, safe and welcoming.
