The Recreation department of the Community Engagement and Cultural Services division has an opportunity for interested individuals to apply for the casual position of Skate Host at Meadow Park Sports Centre (MPSC). Reporting to the Guest Services Coordinator, this position offers a variable schedule during MPSC’s operational hours of 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., including weekends. Standard shifts are 11:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., 11:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. but can vary due to operational needs and over holidays. Ideal candidates would commit to at least 2 shifts per week with an option to work more when needed.

The Skate Host role is a combination of skate shop and skate patrol duties during busy public skating sessions at MPSC.
