Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Traffic Supervisor in Ontario to manage all on-site traffic control operations. You will ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws, develop TCPs, coordinate with subcontractors, and oversee traffic personnel to keep site traffic safe and efficient.

You should have 3–5 years of on-site experience, a civil engineering or related degree, and a valid Ontario G license. Proficiency with traffic planning tools and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree/diploma in related fields.
• 3–5 years of on-site construction/traffic experience.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Ontario Traffic Manual Book 7 and the Highway Traffic Act.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License (G).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with laws and OH&S regulations.
• Develop and implement traffic control plans (TCPs).
• Direct traffic operations on-site and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Maintain line authority over traffic personnel and procedures.
• Liaise with municipalities, transit providers, and contracting authorities.
• Monitor traffic queues and transit times, report incidents within 48 hours.
• Document traffic measures daily and attend traffic management meetings.
