Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Directing the flow of traffic around active construction zones using a variety of tools.
  • Following the traffic control plan as communicated by the supervisor.
  • Communicating with site supervisors and other TCPs to ensure efficient traffic flow.
  • Interacting with pedestrians and motorists as needed.
  • Reporting any unsafe acts or conditions observed.
  • Working at multiple locations and under various weather conditions.
  • Working night shifts as required.

We are currently looking for Traffic Control Personnel (TCPs) to join our growing team! Reporting directly the Crew Supervisor, the TCPs will be responsible for safely controlling the flow of traffic around various Forest Contractors work sites.

Additional Responsibilities Include
  • Directing the flow of traffic around active construction zones using a variety of tools including signs and 2-way radios.
  • Following the traffic control plan as written and communicated by the Site Supervisor, Supervisor and/or Project Manager.
  • Communicating with Site Supervisors and other TCPs to ensure traffic is flowing efficiently and with as minimal disruption as possible.
  • Interacting with pedestrians and motorists, as needed.
  • Reporting any unsafe acts or conditions observed while controlling traffic.
  • Working at multiple locations and under a variety of weather conditions.
  • Working night shifts, as required.
  • Other duties, as required.
