Job summary

Michael Page is assisting a client in Ontario to hire a highly experienced low-rise Site Superintendent for residential developments (singles, semis and townhomes). The role emphasizes on-site leadership after foundation, QA/QC, safety and schedule management.

You should have 10+ years in rough-in construction, post-secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management (MBA or M.Eng. preferred), and a proven ability to coordinate trades and report to senior management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years rough-in (after foundation stage) experience in construction as a low-rise Site Superintendent on singles, semi's and townhomes developments.
• MBA and/or M.Eng. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the construction project and all operations on site after the foundation stage.
• Ensuring QA/QC standards are upheld.
• Organizing site staff, trades, and contractors and reporting progress to management.
• Ensuring health and safety plans and MOL requirements are implemented.

Our client has been in business over 15-20+ years changing the way residential developments are built in the low rise residential space throughout Ontario.

Description

• Supervising the construction project and all the operations on the site after the foundation stage
• Ensuring that the quality of work and materials is upheld - Upholding Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards
• Organizing and Supervising site staff, trades and contractors and ensuring that they are performing as required and reporting progress
• Ensuring that the health and safety project plans and MOL requirements are implemented and followed
• Creating, Monitoring, and updating project schedules and ensuring the schedule and look ahead schedules are followed and provide updates to the Project Manager/Senior Management as required

Profile
