Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for a Low-rise Rough-ins project in Canada. You will lead planning, execution and finalization of residential construction work from roof to drywall, coordinating internal teams and external contractors to meet scope, budget and schedule.

In collaboration with senior management, you will develop plans, schedules and budgets, estimate resources, submit budget proposals and manage staffing.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant full-cycle or rough-in experience in low-rise residential construction.
• Experience coordinating developers, consultants and contractors.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules.

Project Manager - Low-rise Rough-ins

The Project Manager - Low-rise Rough-ins is responsible for planning, executing and finalizing projects within budget while adhering to deadlines from Roof plywood to Drywall stages. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan with and understanding of the planning and approvals process.

Our client is a nationally established residential Developer that has experience building landmark projects around the across Canada.

In collaboration with senior management, define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.

• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and associated communications documents.
• Estimate the resources and personnel required to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Assess need for additional staff and/or consultants; liaise with department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within and/or outside the organization.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.

Profile

Minimum 10-15 years of relevant full cycle or rough-in stages for low-rise residential experience in a Construction environment.

• Ideally worked with Developers, in and self-performing builders understanding how to bring a project from Roof plywood to drywall stages including; SPA, working drawings to starting the project and building themselves
• Experience managing multiple large construction contracts involving consultants, construction firms and general contractors.
• Solid background in preparing and administering consulting and construction agreements
• Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Job Offer

$100,000- $135,000 base salary plus bonus
