Site Superintendent/Project Coordinator

We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Site Superintendent/Project Coordinator in theWinnipeg area.

Job Responsibilities will include:

  • Enforcement of company policy, in particular Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Health & Safety
  • Provide technical support regarding products, substrate, site conditions.
  • Provide support to install crews on Stonhard systems and equipment.
  • Material Management.
  • Identification of areas of concern on jobsites which can affect quality, safety, and profitability. Bring these items to the attention of TM and Manager if required.
  • Enforcement of company standards of installation
  • Testing and reporting on product as required.
  • Implementation of company directives and initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between TM and installation crews, assisting with job logistics, shipping, and scheduling.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel within the province.
  • Construction experience required.
  • Ability to read Blueprints/drawings.
  • Education:The ideal candidate will have successfully completed High School.
  • Epoxy coating’s preparation & application experience considered an asset.
  • 1+ years site supervisor experience required.
  • Personal Characteristics: Physically capable, detail oriented, results driven, team player, self-starter.
  • Must have own means of transportation with valid license.
  • CET, Engineering background, Project Management Professional would be considered an asset.
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safety rules
  • Must be able to pass mandatory Drug Testing & Security Clearances
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50-70 pounds etc.)

Job Type:

  • Full-time, Permanent
  • Expect weekend and evening work - project often dictates working hours.
