Job summary

Novacom Building Partners is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead the Greater Vancouver site team from mobilization through turnover. You will manage site logistics, trade coordination, scheduling, safety and quality, working closely with the Project Director and Project Manager.

You will bring 5+ years in commercial or multi-family construction, strong Procore experience, and proven ability to coordinate trades in wood-frame, ground-up projects while representing the company on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial or multi-family construction, leading projects from mobilization to turnover.
• Solid Procore experience: daily logs, RFIs, submittals, change events and field reports.
• Real trade coordination: sequencing multiple trades in tight spaces and meeting dates.
• Comfortable representing the company on-site with clients, consultants and building management.
• Ground-up experience, wood-frame multi-family is a strong asset and opens the top of the range.
• Gold Seal Certification, BCIT Construction Management or equivalent credentials are assets.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada and able to perform in-person site work.

Responsibilities

• Mobilization and setup, hoarding, access, lay-down, and trade kickoffs.
• Lead on-site coordination with Project Manager and Project Coordinator to manage draws and change orders.
• Oversee safety and quality with Procore and the on-site safety team.
• Coordinate schedule with trades; ensure weekly progress and turnover readiness.
• Interact with City inspections, architects and engineers; participate in OAC meetings.
• Maintain daily logs, photos, manpower, field reports and change events in Procore.
