Acadian Construction Ltd. seeks a Site Superintendent to lead commercial projects across Atlantic Canada. You’ll oversee daily on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors and field teams, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence from start-up to closeout.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, clients, and consultants, read drawings and specs, and drive issue resolution with strong organizational skills. This role emphasizes leadership and teamwork in a growing family-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction site supervision.
• Based in or near the Greater Moncton region and willing to travel throughout the Maritimes.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and construction reporting tools.
• Experience with Procore is considered an asset.

• Communicate progress and risks with Project Managers.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and trades.
• Lead project closeout activities including deficiencies and turnover.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

As a Site Superintendent, you'll oversee daily site operations from project start-up through closeout while working closely with Project Managers, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams.

You'll Be Trusted To

• Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors, site crews, schedules, and daily workflow.
• Maintain project quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure work is executed correctly.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively to keep projects moving forward.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety requirements and company standards.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and site logistics.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers regarding progress, risks, and site updates.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.
• Lead project closeout activities, including deficiencies and final site turnover.
