Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and building codes.
• Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment utilization, and waste disposal.
• Resolve on-site issues or conflicts with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.
• Foster a positive and collaborative on-site environment, providing leadership to personnel.
• Communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors to meet project objectives.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Site Superintendent to join our team in the Buildings Division to complete projects in the Barrie/Simcoe area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Construction Site Superintendent will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, managing resources, and maintaining a high standard of quality throughout the construction process.

• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, with knowledge of OHSA regulations and industry standards.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
