Shirley Parsons Construction Safety Manager Consultant - Wind Project Support in Alberta

Shirley Parsons is currently recruiting a Construction Safety Manager consultant to support wind projects in Alberta.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction safety, particularly supporting wind turbine construction or heavy industrial projects.

These are long-term contract positions offering travel assistance, per diem, and extensive overtime.

The Role :
  1. Develop, manage, and implement health and safety procedures in line with federal, provincial, and corporate standards.
  2. Assist with compliance reviews, risk assessments, and safety evaluations.
  3. Ensure adherence to the site EHS program through active management and activities.
  4. Participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
The Candidate :
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
  2. At least 3 years of EHS experience in construction environments preferred.
  3. Knowledge of Canadian safety regulations.
  4. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with employees at all levels.
