Job description

This role oversees the field-level execution of projects, including supervising on-site activities, managing field operations staff, and overseeing subcontractors. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise site personnel to ensure adherence to company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Conduct regular site walkthroughs to observe safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement daily operational and project plans in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate physical activities of employees, subcontractors, and suppliers for all site activities.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
• Provide regular status updates to the General Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Ensure all site resources are effectively utilized and monitored to achieve timely project completion.
• Verify compliance with relevant project specifications and drawings.

This role requires working outdoors, with extended periods spent on job sites. Travel may be required, and hours can be long, often exceeding 10-12 hours per day based on project requirements.

Requirements :

• Supervisory experience in remediation or civil construction.
• Construction industry experience in civil earthworks, groundworks, landscaping, and / or environmental remediation projects.
• Knowledge of safety and employment regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of specifications and blueprints.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
