About the Project

The Connect 6ix project is a consortium-led contract responsible for delivering the Rolling Stock, Systems, Operations and Maintenance (RSSOM) package for the Ontario Line — a new 15.6 km rapid transit subway running across Toronto. This includes the trains, signaling, communications systems, and the operations and maintenance facility. Connect 6ix will also operate and maintain the line for 30 years. https://connect6ix.ca/

About the Job

We are hiring a Site Office Coordinator to join our Construction team on the RSSOM. This position reports to the General Superintendent.

What You Will Be Doing?

  • Oversee all site office administration tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Track and coordinate washroom services, including water supply monitoring, cleaning schedules, and water truck deliveries.
  • Ensure site power needs are communicated and maintained.
  • Request and manage coffee supply, office consumables, and stationery as needed.
  • Serve as the point of contact for vendors and deliveries to the site office.
  • Assist with system updates and related site logistics.
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure documents (permits, reports, delivery logs) are organized and accessible.
  • Support scheduling of meetings, site orientations, and safety briefings.
  • Facilitate onboarding support for new staff including access cards, PPE requests, and workspace setup.
  • Monitor and report on supply inventory and coordinate timely replenishments.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments (HSE, construction, contracts, etc.) to support admin needs.
  • Ensure the office area is clean, organized, and aligned with site safety protocols.
  • Prepare and distribute communications as directed by the site leadership.

What We Are Looking For?

  • Minimum 3 years of administrative or office coordination experience; experience in construction or infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced site environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite every day, independently and collaboratively.
  • High attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism in handling sensitive and time-critical tasks.
  • Valid driver's license
