You will be part of our Mobilinx project, playing a key role in driving its success and contributing to one of Canada’s most exciting infrastructure projects.

About the Job

We are hiring a Traffic Control Coordinator to step into an existing role in our Traffic team on the Mobilinx project. This position reports to the Traffic Manager.

What You Will Be Doing?
  • Act as an integrated member of the project-wide Traffic Management Team; support and coordinate team responsibilities, reporting, and deliverables.
  • Prepare temporary traffic staging and control plans in accordance with the Ontario Traffic Manual (OTM) Book 7 to support construction activities along the corridor.
  • Monitor operational performance and raise issues to the Traffic Manager and Construction leads.
  • Produce, track, and document all team deliverables.
  • Liaise and coordinate with municipalities, transit agencies, the Contracting Authority, and the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) as required.
  • Collaborate with external design teams for the development, review, and processing of Traffic Management Plans (TMPs).
  • Conduct and participate in quality control reviews, site visits and audits.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with traffic signal operations and related infrastructure.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the Health and Safety program, safety equipment, and relevant regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For?
  • Degree or diploma in Construction, Traffic Management, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in traffic engineering, traffic design, and/or traffic operations, including experience working with temporary traffic management on infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Ontario Traffic Manual (OTM) Book 7 and the Highway Traffic Act and related regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Bluebeam or similar PDF markup/management software.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, innovative, and reliable.
  • Proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading).
  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License is preferred.
Expected Compensation

Successful candidates chosen for this position can expect to earn between $70,000.00 CAD - $90,000.00 CAD. The exact salary you will earn within this range is dependant on the specific project to which you are assigned.
