Securitas Canada seeks a vigilant Site Manager to oversee private facilities in Gatineau. You will provide leadership, enforce post orders, and ensure security requirements are met on assigned shifts.

Must be bilingual (English and French), eligible for Secret Clearance (Canadian citizenship and 10 years residency), hold a valid BSP license and an ASP certificate, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.

• Have a valid ASP certificate.
• Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.

Responsabilités

• Performs the duties of a Security Guard in accord with post orders and company policy.
• Provides lead direction at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s); ensures post orders are followed and reports filed; notifies authorities and client in emergencies.
• Counsels and disciplines personnel as appropriate; meets with employees and documents actions.
• Assists in training of Security Guards and review of post orders.
• Assists in submission of payroll and personnel information.
• In conjunction with management ensures adequate security coverage of all posts.
• Prepares, files and submits various reports as required.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure all security requirements are met and provide quality customer service.

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated individual to ensure the safety and security of Private facilities. As a Site Manager – Gatineau, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through various tasks and duties such as:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs the duties of a Security Guard in accord with post orders and company policy.
• Provides lead direction at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s); acts to ensure that post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that adequate reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• May counsel and discipline personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents counseling and disciplinary actions.
• Assists in the training of Security Guards and review of post orders.
• Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
• In conjunction with company management or designated company representatives acts to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts.
• Prepares, files and submits various reports as required.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be Bilingual (English and French).
• Applicants must be eligible to receive a Secret Clearance (Eligibility for Secret Clearance include a Canadian citizenship and a minimum of 10 years residency in Canada is required).
• Have a valid Quebec Security Guard License (BSP)
• Have a valid ASP certificate
• Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
• Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments.
• Understanding of a variety of security and safety devices and controls.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.

WHAT WE OFFER:

• $65k - $70k (includes applicable premiums)
• Monday to Friday 0700-1500 (40 hours per week)
