Securitas Canada Limited is hiring professional and reliable Security Guards for positions across Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, Fergus, and Puslinch in Southwestern Ontario. • Conduct regular patrols and inspections.
• Enforce client and site-specific security policies.
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, students, contractors, and members of the public.
• Maintain a visible security presence.
• Contact emergency services when required.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Securitas Canada is looking for professional and reliable Security Guards to join our team across a variety of client sites throughout the Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, Fergus, Puslinch.

This posting is for multiple vacancies across the Greater Kitchener and Guelph Areas.

Our Security Guards can work in a range of environments, including:

• Corporate and Office Buildings

• Government Sites

• Bank Sites

• Other client locations require professional security services

What You Will Do:

Pay rates range from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on the assignment, location, experience, licensing requirements, and site responsibilities.

• Monitor and patrol the assigned property

• Control access to the site and verify visitors, employees, contractors, and deliveries

• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems

• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports

• Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures

• Conduct regular patrols and inspections

• Enforce client and site-specific security policies

• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, students, contractors, and members of the public

• Maintain a visible security presence

• Contact emergency services when required

• Perform other security-related duties as assigned

What We Need from You:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid and CPR Certificate

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Some positions may require fluency in English and French.

• Previous security experience is an asset, but qualified candidates with a strong customer-service background are encouraged to apply for more experienced roles.

• Priority will be given to candidates with OPEN availability for days, afternoons, nights and weekend shifts and their own vehicle with a G2 or G licence.
