Job summary

Indigo Park Canada is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented maintenance associate to support our Ottawa parking facilities. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll help keep locations clean, safe, and fully functional for customers.

This hands-on role offers independence and teamwork, with opportunities to grow. You’ll conduct inspections, report hazards, replace basic supplies, and assist customers and staff on site.

Qualifications

• High degree of attention to detail.
• Experience using basic hand tools & equipment (jigsaw, screwdriver, trimmer, etc.).
• Ability to work as a team member under minimal supervision.
• Valid provincial drivers license and clean abstract.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections of the property.
• Ensure common areas, entrances, walkways, and surrounding grounds remain clean, safe, and presentable.
• Identify and report damaged equipment, safety hazards, cleanliness concerns, or other deficiencies.
• Replace basic supplies and keep storage and work areas organized.
• Place signage, barriers, or safety cones when required.
• Monitor equipment and facilities for visible signs of damage or malfunction.
• Submit maintenance requests and follow up with management, contractors, or service providers.
• Maintain accurate inspection and incident records.
• Assist customers, visitors, and employees with general site-related questions.
• Support seasonal upkeep activities, such as monitoring snow and ice conditions.
• Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
