Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience in project coordination, management or a combination of education and field exposure.
• CET or EIT designation is a nice to have but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented and proactive.
• Familiarity with construction documentation, RFIs, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Ability to problem solve on the fly.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; scheduling tools.
• Willingness to travel to other locations; relocation to the Edmonton area.
• Valid driver's license with clear 3-year abstract.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of office processes: subcontract management; change orders; RFIs (request for information); estimates & purchase orders and financial reporting
• Learn technical and operational aspects of highway maintenance
• Support safe and efficient work practices; promote a positive safety culture
• Conduct quality inspections, audits, and materials testing
• Analyze operational data (e.g., storm response, patrols, drainage, vegetation)
• Build relationships, influence key stakeholders and proactively participate in discussions
• Manage quality documentation, procurement tasks, and project reporting
