Job summary

Aecon Civil is leading a landmark heavy civil infrastructure project in Ontario, including Kawartha Lakes and Barrie regions. The Foreperson role oversees daily field operations, coordinating crews, equipment and schedules to deliver on time and within safety requirements.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will supervise field crews, ensure quality, and manage production against plans, budgets and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in construction.
• Experience with earthworks, grading, blasting and roadway construction.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promote and execute a Safety‑First culture on site.
• Provide guidance through safety meetings and inspections.
• Track and report project quality and resource needs.
• Direct crews to meet production goals and deadlines.
