Job summary

Kalamoir is seeking a Foreman to lead daily on-site activities, coordinate subtrades, and drive strict adherence to safety, quality, and schedule on Calgary-area projects.

You will manage subcontractor coordination, support surveys and inspections, and maintain comprehensive site records through Procore. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and field-level problem solving.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of site safety and hazard awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication and ability to delegate to crews and subtrades.
• Proficient with digital site documentation tools (e.g., Procore).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily on-site construction activities to align with schedule and contract documents.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain a safe work environment for staff and subtrades.
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet schedule, quality, and budget expectations.
• Support survey, testing, inspections, and handovers; manage on-site coordination.
• Attend and document weekly subcontractor meetings covering safety, schedule, and changes.
• Complete QC checklists at milestones and ensure work complies with drawings and specs.
• Maintain site documentation (photos, Procore journal, deficiencies, as-built drawings).
• Assist with reporting on schedule, quality, safety, and budget, flagging risks and actions.
