Job summary

L.A. Hébert Ltée is seeking a seasoned foreman to supervise construction teams on large civil projects in Quebec. You will ensure quality, safety, and compliance with plans and specs while managing on-site operations and progress reporting.

The role requires CCQ certification, strong planning, and ability to mobilize and train crews. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, clients, and suppliers to maximize productivity and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of foreman experience and civil engineering background.
• Experience supervising large-scale construction sites.
• Valid CCQ competency cards.
• Excellent planning and work organization skills.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to mobilize, supervise, and train teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team to ensure high-quality work while optimizing productivity and minimizing injuries and property damage.

• Ensure worker safety and implementation of OHS procedures (ASP Construction, use of PPE, signage).

• Identify and resolve technical or organizational issues on-site.
• Monitor work progress, maintain site logs, and produce daily reports.
• Participate in site meetings and collaborate with engineers, project managers, clients, suppliers.
• Ensure time reports and all relevant documents are completed and tracked.
