Job summary

RWC Systems Inc. is seeking a Foreman to lead installation crews across client sites from downtown Calgary to northern BC. You will manage resources to boost productivity, quality and safety while promoting the company’s values of integrity and teamwork on every site.

You will supervise trades, coordinate schedules, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, plans, and company policies, reporting to the field superintendent.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant trade experience.
• Holding or pursuing Red Seal certification.
• Valid Level 1 First Aid certification.
• Boom and Scissor Lift certification.
• Fall Protection certification.
• Supervisor Responsibility Training.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office email and use of tablets (iPad).

Responsibilities

• Act in a professional manner in all situations that arise.
• Ensure safety of staff and well-being of the company.
• Perform, oversee and delegate site layout.
• Attend daily or weekly site meetings as required.
• Learn to perform onsite material & quantity take-offs if required.
• Read and interpret project/engineered and shop drawings.
• Coordinate tasks and supervise crews on site.
• Maintain safe work site and enforce safety procedures.
• Enter hours and review subcontractor sheets in required systems.
• Document QC checklists and material deliveries.
