Job summary

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a Site Audit Supervisor at Pickering Casino Resort. Under the Regional Audit Manager, you will oversee the Audit team, review and balance gaming revenues, and maintain a safe, accountable work environment while upholding policies and procedures.

You will lead audits across Slots, Table Games, Lottery, F&B and related processes, ensuring compliance with MOP, Fintrac and internal controls. Strong people leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent with focus in Accounting or Economics or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in administration; minimum 1 year in casino operations is an asset; supervisory experience is an asset.
• Fluency in all Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize work in an efficient and organized manner.
• Strong analytical, evaluative and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated judgment, tact, diplomacy and confidentiality with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Audit and balance gaming revenues (Slots, Table Games), main bank paperwork, lottery, F&B, progressive machines and vouchers.
• Respond to, resolve or escalate audit issues.
• Review, enter and balance daily gaming and non-gaming revenues.
• Assist with payroll and scheduling reconciliation.
• Distribute revenue reports to management and regulatory bodies.
• Review transactions for Cage & Coin, Table Games, F&B, Lottery and Fintrac.
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and statutory regulations.
• Maintain adherence to internal controls (MOP) and regulatory standards (Fintrac).
• Assist in implementing departmental strategic plans.
• Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to the Audit team; conduct performance reviews.

• Audits and balances gaming revenues (including Slots and Table Games), main bank paperwork, lottery, Food & Beverage, progressive machines and vouchers
• Responds to, resolves or escalates Audit issues
• Review, enter and balance daily gaming and non-gaming revenues
• Assist with payroll & scheduling reconciliation
• Distribute revenue reports to management and regulatory bodies
• Reviews transactions for Cage & Coin, Table Games, Food & Beverage, Lottery and Fintrac
• Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Complies with requirements listed in MOP and paperwork stored and destructed as per EDRM
• Ensures strict adherence to internal controls (MOP), regulatory standards (Fintrac) and legal requirements.
• Assists in the implementation of the departmental strategic plans
• Provides leadership, direction and mentoring to the Audit team, including performance reviews, while providing continuous coaching for success to achieve high performance
• Stewards workplace health, safety and wellness with a focus on education & training, workplace inspections and accident prevention not reaction;
• Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, regulatory bodies and team members
• Anticipates operational and service issues before they escalated, troubleshoots and resolves guest concerns
• Complete performance reviews
• Oversee sick calls and attendance
• Hold people accountable, determine/issue discipline
• Approve vacation and wellness requests
• Training, coaching and development of site auditors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Successful Applicants Will Demonstrate The Following Qualifications
