Job summary

Stathera, Inc. is seeking a Silicon Validation Engineer to join our R&D team in Vancouver.

You will perform electrical testing of early-stage silicon and maintain it through release, coordinating with ASIC and MEMS design teams to plan experiments and develop low-noise, high-performance analog and digital circuits. Reporting to the VP of Systems Engineering, this role involves cross-functional collaboration and ~40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering required.
• Strong analog and digital electronics testing background.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, VNAs, PNAs and SMUs.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and programming.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or MATLAB.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Test analog and mixed-signal ASICs and MEMS systems at wafer level.
• Create and execute validation/characterization plans.
• Design schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Assist in the development of embedded systems and firmware.
• Work with test houses to set up final test infrastructure and deploy production test programs.
• Analyze data and generate comprehensive reports.
