Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems seeks a Shunter/Linehaul Driver to operate out of Sydney, NS. The role entails shunting loads to customers and performing linehaul runs to Truro/New Glasgow and back, with additional linehaul duties as needed.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of Class 1 experience, a clean abstract, and are eligible to work in Canada. Armour conducts a road test and a Non-DOT drug screen as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Two years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience.
• Clean driving record required.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Must pass Armour Road Test and a Non-DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Shunt loads from Sydney terminal to customers.
• Linehaul loads from Sydney to Truro/New Glasgow terminals and back to Sydney.
• Perform additional linehaul duties as required.
