Armour Transportation Group is seeking a dependable Class 1 Truck Driver for day shift regional pick-up and delivery, based in New Glasgow, NS. You will operate Class 1 vehicles, perform loads, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding safety standards.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong route knowledge, and excellent communication with dispatch and customers to provide timely service. Comprehensive training and ongoing growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 License and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Proven ability to operate manual transmission trucks is considered an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of safe driving experience with tractor-trailers.
• Strong knowledge of local and regional routes.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience with freight handling and scanning equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities
