Job summary

Simpson Scrap Metal & Recycling in Saint John, NB is seeking a dedicated driver to transport scrap around the site and support hauling operations. You will help organize loads, ensure cargo safety, and keep the vehicle clean.

Requirements include 2+ years driving in Canada, a valid Class 5 license, comfort with heights, a clean driver’s abstract, and reliable communication. Hours are Mon–Fri 7am–5pm, with Saturdays as needed; applicants must be authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Help to transport scrap products across the site.
• Ensuring safety and security of cargo.

• Organize and load product.
• Safely navigate the vehicle around the site.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
• Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to proper manager.
