Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a professional driver to operate dump trucks and tractor-trailers. You will plan routes using GPS, monitor vehicle condition, and perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.

This on-the-road role requires 1–2 years of experience, frequent travel, and a valid Class 1/A licence with air brakes endorsement. English proficiency, WHMIS, CPR and First Aid knowledge are required.

• Credentials include Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence, CPR, First Aid, WHMIS

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using GPS equipment or other navigation devices
• Professionalism in customer service
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
