Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced truck driver to operate a range of trucks locally and provincially, loading/unloading, and maintaining cargo safety. You will work on-site in Canada, with required licences and the ability to travel. Expect demanding work with physical tasks and strong safety discipline.

Responsibilities include pre-/post-trip inspections, dispatch communications, and accurate cargo documentation. Relevant endorsements and flexibility to travel are essential.

Qualifications

College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
Driver training or instructor background is a plus.
Class 1/1F/A licence with Air Brake Endorsement required.

Responsibilities

Professionalism in customer service.
Load and unload goods.
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
Pay and receive payments for goods.
Perform brake adjustments.
Perform emergency roadside repairs.
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
Perform preventive maintenance.
Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
