Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver to join our on-site team in Longueuil, QC. You will drive and unload goods, perform pre-trip inspections and coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires 3–5 years driving experience, a Class 3 or D license, and the ability to handle physically demanding work in a dusty environment. Local, provincial routes and manual transmission driving are common here.

Qualifications

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience.
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience; Driver's license class 3 or D may be required.
  • Valid driver’s license (Class 3 or D) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Professionalism in customer service.
  • Load and unload goods.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
  • Pay and receive payments for goods.
  • Perform brake adjustments.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
