TheShopper Marketing Account Coordinatoris an entry-level role that supports on the day-to-day project management of marketing programs for an assigned client group. To be successful you will need to bring your creative mindset, detail-oriented focus, and positive attitude in your approach to building internal relationships.

We’ll give you the mentorship and training, you’ll tackle the learning and personal growth, and together we’ll have a positive impact on our client’s marketing strategies.

Please note, that this is a hybrid role consisting of remote working from home two days per week (Monday, Friday), and three days working in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work closely with Account Managers (AM) and Account Director (AD) to assist and help execute marketing projects for assigned clients.
  • Assist AM in the creation and maintenance of several internal documents.
  • Help in development of project timelines.
  • Maintain weekly status reports.
  • Liaise with Creative and Studio departments as required, ensuring projects are on schedule and on budget.
  • Attend weekly Account Team meetings.
  • Monthly program reporting as required.

YOUR AREAS OF EXPERTISE

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Communications or combined experience and education will be considered.
  • Completion of a related internship or co-op program while in school will also be considered.
  • Exposure to financial and budget management within a school program or through previous work experience.
  • Deep understanding and high care for the things you engage in.
  • You build strong relationships, becoming a trusted resource to your internal team and clients by understanding their brands, processes and ways of working.
  • Positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Resourceful and innovative with an ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Excellent organization, time management and multi-tasking skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a complex environment with tight timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior attention to detail with innate curiosity and a desire to learn.
  • French language skills, written and verbal are considered an asset.
