Job summary

DyMark Industries is seeking an Onsite Supervisor to lead welders and ironworkers on multiple fabrication projects. You will work with the Field Project Manager to ensure quality steel erection and safe, efficient onsite operations.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of relevant supervisory experience with welding post-secondary training. Valid WHMIS, crane operation, and CWB-SMAW tickets are assets. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education for Pre-Employment Welding required.
• 5-7 years related supervisory experience preferred.
• Transferable CWB-SMAW tickets beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise onsite welders and ironworkers to meet production goals.
• Coordinate with Field Project Manager for project execution.

DyMark Industries is currently seeking a highly motivated team player for the position of Onsite Supervisor. Onsite Supervisors work with the Field Project Manager to provide quality metal fabrication & structural steel erection for various projects at DyMark. The Onsite Supervisor is also responsible for the effective supervision of onsite welders and ironworkers to meet onsite production requirements.

The successful candidate(s) will possess post-secondary education for Pre-Employment Welding along with 5-7 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and Supervisory experience. Transferable CWB-SMAW tickets would be beneficial. Previous WHMIS, onsite crane operation and other lifting device experience would be assets. The successful candidate(s) must also possess strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. A valid driver's license is also required.
