Responsibilities

  • Prepare equipment and cabling according to purchase orders.
  • Ensure that equipment is brought up to standard before it is returned to inventory or put into use.
  • Place equipment in appropriate locations in returns and shipping racks, sorting areas, and logistics hub.
  • Move and store equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and proper handling procedures.
  • Clean equipment and perform a visual inspection to identify damage, defects, or signs of wear.
  • Report any equipment that is damaged, defective, or requires further attention to the appropriate staff.
  • Keep workspaces and traffic areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Adhere to the company’s and industry’s quality standards and preparation guidelines.
  • Perform all other duties related to the position.

Reporting to the department supervisor, Workshop Technician 1 performs tasks related to the preparation, inspection, maintenance, and basic repair of audiovisual equipment. He or she ensures that the equipment is in working order, clean, and compliant with the company’s quality standards before it is used or shipped.

Your day will look like this:
  • Prepare equipment and cabling according to purchase orders;
  • Ensure that equipment is brought up to standard before it is returned to inventory or put into use;
