This multi‑role position is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of independent road work, hands‑on mechanical repair, and face‑to‑face customer service. You will spend your days split between delivering critical supplies to municipal clients using a 1‑ton truck and trailer, assisting walk‑in customers at our shop counter, and performing mechanical repairs on municipal and traded‑in equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliveries & Logistics

• Safely operate a 1‑ton pickup truck equipped with a flatbed or utility trailer to deliver municipal supplies and equipment.
• Securely strap, tie down, and inspect all loads prior to departure.
• Navigate rural Saskatchewan roads and municipal yards safely in all weather conditions.
• Provide professional customer service during drop‑offs, ensuring delivery paperwork is signed and accurate.

Equipment Repair & Shop Maintenance

• Diagnose, service, and repair returned, rented, or traded‑in municipal equipment.
• Perform basic mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical troubleshooting to prep equipment for resale or use.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment (sweeping, organizing inventory, and disposing of waste).
• Monitor shop tool inventory and ensure all safety equipment is in good working order.

Counter Sales & Customer Service

• Greet and assist walk‑in municipal workers, contractors, and public works staff.
• Help customers locate parts, pull orders from stock, and answer basic product questions.
• Assist with loading customer vehicles using a forklift or by hand.
• Perform other general duties in the warehouse or yard as required by management.
