Job summary

Pratts Food Service is seeking a motivated Class 5 Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our Saskatoon team. You will be responsible for delivering food service products safely, accurately, and professionally to customers throughout Saskatoon and surrounding communities.

The ideal candidate will have a Saskatchewan Class 5 license, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and demonstrate strong communication and reliability. Forklift experience is an asset; training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

  • Grade 10 education required.
  • 0–6 months of experience preferred.
  • Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
  • Experience operating delivery trucks is an asset.
  • Forklift experience is an asset but training can be provided.
  • Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a 2 axle delivery truck.
  • Deliver food service products accurately and professionally to customer locations.
  • Load and unload products using pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment.
  • Provide outstanding customer service at every stop.
  • Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Assist with warehouse shipping, receiving, organization, and housekeeping as required.
  • Help prepare delivery routes for the following day.
  • Work safely while following all company policies and OH&S procedures.
  • Support teammates wherever needed to ensure our operation runs smoothly.
