Job summary

Leggat Discovery Ford is seeking a Shop Helper to join during the busy tire season. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in an automotive shop and will be a fixed-term contract of 3-6 months depending on workload. Flexible after-school hours (3pm-6pm) Mon-Fri and Saturdays, with a pay rate of $17.95 per hour.

As part of Leggat Auto Group, you will gain exposure to a large dealership network and a supportive team environment while helping with tire storage and vehicle cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, lower, hold and carry light to heavy loads (40lbs).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Wash client vehicles after service performed.
• Assist with tire inventory and move tires to storage area; document accordingly.
• Ensure cleanliness of the shop and parking lot.
• Assist around the shop where needed.

Leggat Discovery Ford is looking for a Shop Helper to join our team for the busy tire season! This position will help with the rush of tire season and will be on a fixed term contract from 3-6 months, depending on the work load. This is an entry level position which will give the opportunity to gain experience in an automotive shop environment. If you are eager, hardworking, and interested in getting experience in a shop environment, then this position is perfect for you!

Compensation: $17.95 per hour

Hours of Work : Flexible hours, can be after school 3pm-6pm Monday to Friday, and Saturdays. Please inform us of your hours of availability on application.

• Washing Client vehicles after service performed
• Assist with tire inventory, moving tires to assigned storage area and documenting
• Ensure cleanliness of the shop and parking lot
• Assist around the shop where needed
