Job summary

Leggat Discovery Ford in Burlington, Ontario is seeking a Shop Helper/Tire Storage Attendant for the busy tire season. This entry level role offers hands-on experience in our automotive shop and is a fixed-term contract from 3-6 months depending on workload.

Wage is $17.90 per hour, with flexible hours (after school 3pm-6pm, Mon–Fri, and Saturdays). You will assist with tire inventory, wash vehicles after service, and help keep the shop and lot clean.

Leggat Discovery Ford is looking for a Shop Helper/ Tire Storage Attendant to join our team for the busy tire season! This position will help with the rush of tire season and will be on a fixed term contract from 3-6 months, depending on the work load. This is an entry level position which will give the opportunity to gain experience in an automotive shop environment. If you are eager, hardworking, and interested in getting experience in a shop environment, then this position is perfect for you!

Compensation: $17.90 per hour

Hours of Work: Flexible hours, can be after school 3pm-6pm Monday to Friday, and Saturdays. Please inform us of your hours of availability on application.

Your Role:

• Washing Client vehicles after service performed
• Assist with tire inventory, moving tires to assigned storage area and documenting
• Ensure cleanliness of the shop and parking lot
• Assist around the shop where needed
