Job summary

Leggat Discovery Ford is seeking a Service Valet to support the service department. This entry-level, customer-facing role involves greeting clients, moving vehicles, maintaining a clean drive area, and assisting shuttle drivers as needed.

The position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday with one weekday off, at a pay rate of $17.90 per hour. Leggat Auto Group supports career growth within 12 dealerships.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the service area and direct them as needed.
• Control service traffic flow and parking.
• Determine if customers have an appointment for service.
• Maintain a clean and safe service drive area.
• Place vehicle Interior Protection, tag keys and place mirror tags in vehicles.
• Move vehicles to the designated parking area and ensure windows are up and vehicles locked.
• Fill in for shuttle drivers as needed.
• Bring vehicles to the front of service drive when directed.
• Wash vehicles after service.
• Assist in winter tire storage and organization during tire change over seasons.

Leggat Discovery Ford is looking for a Service Valet! This position will be customer facing, and involves helping where needed in the automotive shop. This entry level position is a great way to gain experience in an automotive shop environment!

Compensation: $17.90 per hour

Hours of Work : 40 hours, 5 days per week Monday to Saturday with one weekday off.

Job Duties:

• Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
• Controls service traffic flow and parking.
• Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment.
• Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
• Place vehicle Interior Protection in each vehicle, tag keys and place mirror tags in all vehicles
• Move vehicles to appointed parking area and ensure all windows are up and all vehicles are locked
• Fill in for shuttle drivers as needed
• Bring customers’ vehicles to the front of service drive when directed
• Wash vehicles after service.
• Assist in winter tire storage and organization during tire change over seasons

Successful Candidates Possess:

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to work in a team and possess strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
