Boundary Equipment Co. Ltd. is seeking a dependable shop support person to assist in a precision manufacturing environment. The role covers shipping and receiving, material handling, component cleaning and preparation, and general shop duties.

Prospective candidates should be comfortable with standing for long periods, able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, and prepared to work on-site with a team focused on quality and production timelines. Overtime may be required.

Formación

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence is required.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools is required.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is an asset.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, shipping and receiving, or shop support is an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude gained through work, training, or hands-on hobbies is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Support shipping and receiving, including checking incoming materials and preparing outgoing shipments.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely, within training and authorization requirements.
• Complete local pickups and deliveries.
• Clean and prepare components to meet production and shipping requirements.
• Keep shop areas, machinery, and equipment clean and organized.
• Move and organize materials, tools, and components to support shop workflow.
• Cut, prepare, and deburr materials using bandsaws, cutting tools, and other equipment as trained.
• Paint components as required.
• Assist machinists, skilled tradespeople, and other shop staff with day-to-day tasks.
• Package and crate components and equipment securely to prevent damage during handling and transportation.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
