Job summary

Pattison Ag is seeking a Shop Helper for its Kelvington location. The role involves supporting the service department with repairs, assembly and maintenance, helping service technicians, and keeping the shop clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Mechanically minded with ability to perform repairs and maintenance.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Knowledge of engines, hydraulics and electrical systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs on equipment and assist Service Techs with repairs.
• May perform pre-delivery inspection and assemble/service all types of equipment.
• Maintain shop and grounds, ensure safety regulations are followed.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs on equipment
• May do pre-delivery inspection, assemble/service all types of equipment
• Assist Service Techs with repairs
• Maintenance, cleaning/tidying duties for all areas of the shop/grounds
• Ensure safety regulations are followed by self & others
• Participate in training to increase skills/knowledge
• Build & maintain constructive co-worker relationships

Requirements

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn
• Mechanically minded, experience performing repairs/maint
• Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, electrical systems an asset
• Farming background/experience an asset
• Familiarity with John Deere & competitive products an asset
• High School Diploma/equivalent
• Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays
