Job summary

Pattison Agriculture is seeking a Service Shift Manager/Foreman in Saskatchewan to lead the Service Department, optimize technician scheduling, and drive exceptional customer service. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced John Deere dealership environment.

The position requires strong repair experience, AgTech journeyman credentials or equivalent, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience performing complex repairs.
• Experience leading teams or departments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with computer systems and records management.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service jobs for technicians to maximize efficiency.
• Motivate employees through coaching and development.
• Back up the Service Business Manager.
• Assist in diagnosis and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform final approvals on equipment repairs and servicing.
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up.
• Assist in quoting repairs and maintaining records.
• Build effective team dynamics across departments.
• Encourage safe working habits.

In this role you will manage, and direct the workload of the Service Dept for maximum efficiency/productivity & a commitment to exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Schedule all service jobs for techs to optimize efficiency
• Motivate all employees through coaching/development
• Back up Service Business Mgr
• Assist in diagnosis/troubleshooting of equipment
• Perform final approvals on equipment
• Exceptional customer service & follow up
• Assist in quoting repairs & maintaining records
• Build effective team dynamics with all departments
• Encourage safe working habits

Requirements

• Operate vehicles/equipment used for diagnostics
• 5+ years doing complex repairs
• Lift up to 40lbs repeatedly; 40-75lbs on occasion
• Work flexible hours/varying shifts/weekends/holidays
• Valid drivers license
• Ag Tech (JDTECH) Journeyperson Cert/equivalent
• Expert knowledge of ag equipment
• Effectively use computers/systems
• Must be legally entitled to work in CA
