Job summary

IMT Precision, a leading manufacturer in Canada, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead frontline teams and manage daily production activities. The role emphasizes safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost control, within a unionized manufacturing environment.

You will drive employee accountability, coordinate across departments, and ensure production plans are executed safely, efficiently, and with engagement on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and manufacturing leadership experience will be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience; supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and manage daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Provide visible leadership on the shop floor and ensure compliance with policies and collective agreements.
• Serve as primary link between employees and management to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent execution of production plans.
• Foster a respectful and engaged workplace while maintaining effective communication across departments.
