Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Service Technician Resident based in the Wainwright area to support the Edmonton Construction and Forestry branch. You will repair and maintain construction and forestry equipment and attachments, using John Deere Service Advisor and other tools, documenting actions, and ordering parts as needed.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience, knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years' relevant experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Computer and technical aptitude for diagnostics and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate working condition of equipment and diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts, and repair equipment.
• Use related instruments, hand and power tools and computer systems safely and efficiently.
• Document all machine information, actions taken, and time on work orders.
• Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely.
• Use parts catalogs to locate and order parts.
• Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required.
