Qualifications

• Overseeing the coordination of all inbound and outbound shipments ensuring they adhere to company guidelines.
• Ensure all shipments are accurate as to quantity, product, and location destination.
• Communicates with the Manager regarding timing of shipment and any issues regarding paperwork.
• Assist Forklift Operators in performing job responsibilities correctly and safely, with a focus on accuracy.
• Ensure accurate counting and receiving of incoming products by the team.
• Ensure accurate placement of products in our inventory system with the use of Scanners.
• Demonstrate leadership through effective teamwork.
• Work alongside and with the team, providing guidance as needed to ensure maximum productivity.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in the shipping and receiving areas.
• Follow all Food Safety, product quality and Health and Safety Guidelines.
• Organize, prepare and complete all documents required for shipping and receiving as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination of inbound/outbound shipments to meet production needs.
• Ensure shipment accuracy: quantity, product, destination.
• Communicate timing and paperwork issues with the Manager.
• Assist forklift operators, promoting accuracy and safety.
• Count and receive incoming products accurately.
• Record product locations in the inventory system using scanners.
• Provide leadership and foster teamwork for high productivity.
• Maintain clean shipping/receiving areas and follow safety guidelines.
