The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of Supply & Distribution the Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring that shipped and received goods are received and processed in accordance with established policies and procedures. This includes all accompanying paper work is correct and in order.

Hours of Work

730am-3pm shifts

Your Qualifications
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification in the handling & transporting of restricted materials
  • Courses or training related to inventory systems & shipping/receiving area practices are an asset
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse/stockroom/shipping & receiving office environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical/surgical products used in the hospital or health care setting.
  • Knowledge of Health Centre layout, computerized receiving systems, and prior experience working in team/workgroup setting preferred.
  • Able to prioritize daily tasks to ensure the needs of our customers are met.
  • Able to work effectively, making appropriate decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Competency in other languages an asset; French preferred.
